2025: three project managers, a record number of marketing plans, and a 38% lower churn rate
2025 was a turbulent year for Megapiksel, as it was for Estonian companies generally, and there were some genuinely difficult moments at times. But overall, we produced a record number of marketing plans, and for the first time in our short history, three project managers now work at Megapiksel. We reduced our churn rate by 38%, which is a clear numerical sign that service quality took a meaningful leap forward.
Churn rate — the share of the client portfolio that ended their partnership with us during the year.

Because of economic uncertainty, marketing has to prove itself twice over
To help clients feel the impact of marketing more clearly:
- we introduced regular OKR tracking (read more about the OKR methodology in our growth goals article); kasvueesmärkide artiklist);
- we continued with regular satisfaction calls, where CEO Hannes calls clients once a quarter;
- we created an onboarding presentation for clients, to present at the start of the partnership and set the right expectations.
Internal team bottlenecks
1️⃣ Video production.
Solution:we brought on three new freelance videographers, letting us produce videos faster and better suited for social media.
2️⃣ Unnecessary time spent and, at times, weak time planning.
Solution:this is still a work in progress, and there's room to improve. We tried a faster feedback system, but it hasn't become a consistent habit yet. The plan for the new year is to find a project management tool that best covers our needs.
3️⃣ Shared sense of responsibility, so a project manager doesn't feel like they're carrying the load alone.
Solution:we introduced monthly OKR tracking (client goals and metrics) (read more about it siit) so that everyone on the team working with a given client regularly reviews the results of their own work and thinks together about how to improve them.
4️⃣ Megapiksel's own marketing.
Solution:Andreas, who's responsible for marketing, started his workday at 8:00 and blocked off his most productive hours, 8:00–10:00, on several days a week to work on Megapiksel's own marketing.
5️⃣ Team motivation.
Solution:one mental health day per quarter, which can be taken with short notice.
We're continuing on toward our next growth milestone: €2 million in recurring annual revenue! We won't get there in 2026, but we'll get closer. We feel like we get more mature every year, in terms of actually being ready for that growth.
